Returns & Refunds

Overview

Eagle Furniture supplies a combination of brand new, ex-display and pre-owned furniture.

Returns and cancellation rights vary depending on the type of item purchased and the method of purchase (online or in-store).

We encourage customers to carefully review product descriptions, dimensions and specifications prior to purchase and to contact us with any questions before ordering.


Brand New Sofas (Online Purchases)

If you purchase a brand new sofa online without visiting our showroom, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery under UK distance selling regulations.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us in writing within 14 days of receiving the item.


Condition of Returned Items

Returned items must be in resaleable condition.

Customers may handle and inspect the item to the extent necessary to establish its nature and characteristics, similar to what would be permitted in a showroom.

If the item shows signs of excessive use, damage, staining, misuse or handling beyond reasonable inspection, we reserve the right to make a deduction from the refund to reflect any loss in value.

Original packaging should be retained where possible. If packaging has been removed during delivery or installation, the item must still be returned safely and appropriately protected.


Returning the Item

Customers are responsible for returning the item.

As sofas are large items that cannot be returned via standard postal services, customers may:

  • Arrange suitable transport to return the item to our showroom
    or

  • Request that we arrange collection on their behalf

If we arrange collection, a return collection fee will apply. This fee reflects the actual cost of transport and staffing required to retrieve the item and will vary depending on location.

Collection charges will be confirmed prior to booking the return.


Refunds

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of the returned item being received and inspected.

Any applicable collection costs or deductions for diminished value will be deducted from the refund.


Brand New Sofas (In-Store Purchases)

Where a purchase is completed following a showroom visit, change-of-mind returns are not accepted.

Your statutory rights relating to faulty goods remain unaffected.


Ex-Display & Pre-Owned Sofas

Ex-display and pre-owned items are sold as seen.

All items are:

  • Professionally cleaned

  • Thoroughly inspected

  • Clearly described

  • Photographed accurately

These items are not in brand new condition and may show signs of prior use or showroom display.

We aim to provide clear and transparent descriptions regarding condition.

Returns or exchanges are not accepted for ex-display or pre-owned items unless the item is confirmed faulty under warranty.


Warranty

Brand New Sofas

Brand new items are covered by the relevant manufacturer’s warranty.

Warranty length, coverage and terms vary depending on the manufacturer and will be confirmed at point of sale.


Ex-Display & Pre-Owned Sofas

A 7-day functional warranty is provided from the date of delivery.

This covers structural or mechanical faults only.

This does not cover:

  • Cosmetic wear

  • Minor imperfections

  • General usage marks

  • Customer damage

  • Issues disclosed prior to purchase


Faulty Items

If you believe an item is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will assess the issue and arrange repair, replacement or resolution in accordance with UK consumer law and any applicable manufacturer warranty.


Order Cancellations (Before Delivery)

Orders may be cancelled prior to dispatch.

If delivery has already been arranged or stock has been prepared for dispatch, cancellation may incur collection or restocking charges where applicable.


Future Product Categories

As Eagle Furniture expands its catalogue to include additional furniture ranges beyond sofas, this Returns & Refund Policy may be updated to reflect the nature of new product categories.

Any revised terms will be clearly stated on our website and will apply to purchases made after the update date.
